A singer-songwriter and author of a children's book called "If Everyone Looked The Same," Lori Nebo is a songstress who writes her own songs, lyrics, and melodies with her voice. Her versatile music combines notes, words, melodies, and harmonies of gospel, R&B, neo-soul, Latin jazz, reggae, and pop.
Born and raised in Southern California for most of her adult life, Nebo started singing in church at 8 years old, as her mother is a devoted Sunday school teacher. Nebo moved to NYC in 2000, where she started her own entertainment company that includes her original songs, performances, DJ, and karaoke, called Inspiration Love Songs. Also has performed at the world-famous Cafe Wha and The Mean Fiddler as a DJ, with performances at the City Island Yacht Club and inside the NYC Port Authority bus terminal at McAnn's. I have worked many years as a performer, as well as a host and DJ, in the New York City area.
Nebo writes songs with the intention of romance and fun to uplift your spirits, and some are for healing and to give you inspiration when you feel down and need a lift. Songs like : "Love Vibrations," "The Character Of A Good Man," "Standing Stronger," "In The Morning Time," "Chillin N Summertime," "Good Old Fashioned Feelings," "I Am," "The Boogie Down Bronx Uptown" (home of the Yankees), "Love Sweet Love," "Martin Luther King," and "Girl Power-Woman Power" are just a few of the fan favorites. The latest songs are Miracle of Love, a gospel version on the Holiday album, and the most recent, The Power of Love Slow Jam.
